Navigating the Dashboard

When you first sign in, you'll land on the home page. Here's what you'll see:

Project Options: At the top of the screen, you'll find six options for different types of audio projects:

  • Ads
  • Podcasts
  • Audiobooks
  • Meditations
  • Sales
  • Other

Clicking on any of these will take you to the script-building page tailored to that specific project. Alternatively, you can click 'Create a New Track' below these options to start a script without a predefined prompt.

How-to Videos: At the bottom of the page, you have access to a range of quick how-to videos that explain various features of the platform, such as writing scripts, adding music, editing, and publishing.

Navigation Bar: Located in the top left corner, this bar includes options to:

  • Home: Return to the main dashboard.
  • My Library: View all your started projects.
  • Dubs: Access your dubbing projects (only on certain plans)
  • Translation: Manage projects with translated scripts for podcasts, audiobooks, or ads (only on certain plans)

Workspace Selection: Directly beneath the navigation bar, you can choose your workspace—either personal or team-based (if your plan supports this).

Settings and Profile: At the bottom of the page, you can access:

  • Settings: Upgrade your plan, add cloned voices, saved music, and pronunciations.
  • Help: Find assistance for any issues or questions.
  • Profile: Sign out of your account.

Writing Your First Audio Script: Ads

Let's walk through creating ad copy for an audio ad (it’s super easy, we promise). For more info on this, read our post on how to create an audio ad using Wondercraft.

Select Ads: From the project options, click on 'Ads.' You'll see a page like this:

Browse Prompts: On the left, you'll find various prompt categories for ads, such as:

  • Generate variations of an existing ad.
  • Convert a podcast ad to a radio ad.
  • Create a host-read ad.

Each prompt comes with a specific text template to guide you. Replace the text in brackets [ ] with your specific details.

Generate your script: Once you're happy with your prompt, click 'Use Prompt,' then click the black arrow at the bottom right of the text box to generate your ad script.

Finalizing Your Audio Ad

Now that you've generated your ad script, let’s add the finishing touches:

  1. Choose Your Voice: Select from our range of hyperrealistic AI voices.
  2. Parrot Mode: Click on the little parrot to use the parrot mode feature - here you can direct the AI to say words exactly as you want. More on Parrot Mode here.
  3. Add Music and Video: Enhance your ad by adding music and video.
  4. Adjust Copy: Modify the copy as much as you need by hand or use AI to change the tone and format (e.g., make it shorter, longer, more casual, or professional).
  5. Generate Preview: Click 'Generate Preview' at any stage to hear a preview of your ad without using credits.
  6. In a team workspace, this iteration stage can be completed collaboratively, with real-time feedback from other users.
  7. Produce Track: Once satisfied, click 'Produce Track' to generate the audio. You can save it as an MP3, MP4, or WAV file to share on a host platform of your choice.
  8. If you require external feedback, share a link to your audio file to receive comments from third-party collaborators.

That's everything! Congrats, you're now ready to start creating amazing audio content with Wondercraft.
