Welcome to this week’s issue of 7 Weekly Wonders by Wondercraft. Every Friday, we’ll provide you with 7 key updates to keep you informed about the latest developments in the Audio Content space, as well as news from your favorite Audio Studio, Wondercraft.

Today, we're diving into the world of dubbing, exploring a fascinating new AI-enabling feature from YouTube and introducing a new capability in the Audio Studio that allows users to infuse any chosen emotion into an AI voice.

1. Wonder of the week

The top request from Wondercraft users has been the ability to embed specific emotions (like excitement or calmness) into certain parts of a script. We hinted at this in our last newsletter, and this week, we've made even more strides. We can't get over how amazing "British Meditational Anna" sounds. This feature is set to launch by the middle of next week. Here's a sneak peek.

2. Let’s Wander

Here’s what’s new in the world of Audio Content:

Did you know that YouTube now allows Creators to upload multiple audio tracks for the same video?

This opens up exciting possibilities for you: publish your videos in various languages and begin cultivating a worldwide audience. Notably, creators like Steven Bartlett, Ali Abdaal, and other big names on YouTube have been dubbing their videos using the Wondercraft platform.

Click on Settings > Audio Track to select your language.

3. Craft of the week

Every week, we’ll highlight a piece of content created on Wondercraft.

Ali Abdaal, a British YouTube Creator and Podcaster, has been utilizing the Wondercraft platform for dubbing his videos. His team takes advantage of Wondercraft's comprehensive dubbing service, where the original content is initially processed by AI to create a first dub version. Following this, a team of certified translators from Wondercraft steps in to edit and validate the dub before its release. This blend of AI and human expertise in the dubbing process is what gives creators like Ali the confidence to publish their dubs and expand their reach globally.

4. Rewind

Here's the scoop on what we've been up to this week:

  • Aligning with the dubbing theme of today's newsletter, we've just rolled out a new UI for our dubbing page this week. The experience is now smoother and more intuitive. Take a look here.
  • We've dedicated considerable effort this week to enabling the explicit addition of emotion to a voice. This feature is nearly ready and will be available to you next week.

5. Sneak Peak

Here's what's high on our agenda for the next updates:

  • Many users of our legacy app have expressed their appreciation for its ease of use, noting that the UX of the new app could be more user-friendly. We've taken into account detailed feedback on enhancing the UX and will be making adjustments over the next week.

6. Crafting Tip

Did you know that you can dub content into your preferred language and then have it reviewed and edited by our team of translators? It does not even have to be your own content, as long as you obtain the license to dub it.

7. Wonderful Creator Inspiration

Closing with a wonderful quote, from one of our favourite Wondercraft Creators

Stop telling yourself you’re not qualified, good enough or worthy. Growth happens when you start doing the things you’re not qualified to do. - Steven Bartlett
