Wondercraft starts from intent. You describe what you need, or upload a document, and the platform generates a structured first draft across video, voice, music, and images, which you then refine on a timeline.
What does Wondercraft cost?
- Free: $0, 150 credits, up to 720p, limited model access. Output is non-commercial only.
- Creator: $25/month, or $21/month billed annually. 1,000 credits, full commercial rights, no watermark, API access.
- Pro: $45/month, with 2,000, 4,000, or 6,000 credit tiers. Up to 3 seats, 4K upscaling.
- Enterprise: custom terms with SLA, DPA, and indemnity on generated output.
Top-up credits are $3 per 100 and available on every plan, including free.
VEED's individual tiers start lower. If entry price is the deciding factor, VEED wins that comparison outright.
What happens to unused credits?
This is the clearest difference between the two, and it favours Wondercraft.
VEED's Terms of Sale, clause 5.8, state that unused credits cannot be rolled over and will expire at the end of your current subscription period, unless VEED specifies otherwise for a particular plan or promotion. Additional credits can be purchased separately at any time, so top-ups exist, but unspent allocation does not survive the billing period.
Wondercraft rolls unused credits into the following month for as long as your subscription remains active. They expire after that month, so credits do not accumulate indefinitely, but a quiet month does not wipe your balance. Free-tier credits refresh monthly rather than accumulating.
For teams that produce in bursts, this matters more than headline price. Check VEED's current terms yourself before deciding on this basis, since clause 5.8 allows for plan-specific exceptions.
Where does VEED win?

Where does Wondercraft win?
- Audio as a first-class output. Podcasts, audio ads, audiobooks, and meditations are native workflows, not a side effect of video tooling.
- Editing existing footage. If you have recorded material and need to cut, caption, and publish it
- Document-to-video. Upload a PDF or deck and get a structured video rather than assembling it yourself.
- Subtitle and caption tooling. A long-standing strength with broad language support.
- Credit rollover on active paid subscriptions, plus top-ups on any plan at $3 per 100 credits.
- Enterprise indemnity. Indemnity protection on generated output is available on Enterprise terms, which matters for regulated buyers.
Which should you choose?
Choose VEED if you only want to public in Veed platform, or editing for fun, not for commercial use.
Choose Wondercraft if you are generating content rather than editing it, or if you produce audio as well as video, or if your work is primarily editing footage you have already recorded, if you need screen recording, or if you want hosting built in.
Many teams could justify both. If you are consolidating rather than adding, the question is which half of your workflow is larger.
